<p>Describing the school’s catalog. I would think that admissions officers know what classes their school offers. In fact, anytime a person talks more about the school than they do about themselves. </p>
<p>You can talk about the school; you just have to make sure you connect it all back to yourself somehow. Name-dropping programs, classes, and professors without examples of real demonstrated interest from your life can hurt.</p>
