what top schools are kindest to high SAT low GPA students?

asian/f/NJ/public. 1590/2340 SAT, 3.77 GPA unweighted (90-94 is 3.75) with no upward or downward trend, and most rigorous courseload. decent ECs and awards. two Bs so far, and the GPA will stay the same if i get another B this year (hopefully not).

about 500 kids in the grade, but thankfully we don’t rank. ~7 to ivies each year (usually half of which are cornell). so not that competitive. yeah i have no excuse.

i’ve heard duke doesn’t care about GPA as much as a lot of other schools. is this true? are there any other top non-tech schools which don’t care too much about GPA?

i’m looking for a school with prestige; money is not an issue and i will almost certainly be applying somewhere ED/EA. rural, suburban and urban are all fine as long as the college has an actual campus (read: not NYU) and is larger than 2,000 students.

should this be in the what are my chances board?

Engineering programs tend to give more consideration to SAT’s relative to non-engineering.
Also, Caltech.
