What topic could this essay idea pass off under?

Basically, ive figured out what i want to write about for my main common app essay, and i thought about it without considering what the 6 prompts are (since the last one lets you choose anyways), so it would help a lot if some of you could look at the general

first, im wanna talk about a certain individual and how their character traits makes me want to adopt an idea/understanding, an idea that is contrary to what many people believe. then i want to say how i notice how a lot of people (so it becomes a generalization) i know have characters which make me further want to adopt this idea, and spend the rest of the essay talking about the idea.

first, do you guys think this could pass off as an influencial person essay? i dont focus that much on this certain individual, and part of the influence is also a result of the generalization that ill make later on. so, honestly, the way i portray it, the influence is more as a result of many people.

second, do you guys think this could pass off as an experience essay? nothing really specific happens, except for one incident i have with a friend. so this would then be a really gradual development in my life.

third, do you guys think that the prompts themselves are generally not enforced taht heavily, and so that you arent judged based on how closely you follow the prompt than the quality of your prose?

I think the easy solution is just picking the free choice topic.

what idea are you specifically talking about?
You said an “influential person” essay, and then you say the “influence is more as a result of many people” I don’t understand which one you are talking about.
You should go freely on your essay, you can chose how you interpret the promt

I really don’t think it matters. They’re not going to not accept you because of your topic choice (if it’s not too far off), but to be safe, might as well pick the free choice.
