What two qualities do you admire most?

I’m just curious what all of you put down. I said a sense of humor and kindness.

I said determination and intelligence, but I may change the last one. Don’t want to sound like a snob. :</p>

square: if you admire intelligence as one of your top two, stick with that. Your first “gut” reply is probably what you really feel and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not as if one of your top two was “deceitfulness” or “ruthlessness” – LOL

Good luck to you.

Deceitfulness and Ruthlessness

Honesty and a passion for knowledge and understanding.

Sazari, good job going with your gut reaction. Yale will be impressed that you’re honest. Plus they’ll be a little scared of you, so that will also work to your advantage.

Dashing good looks. I didn’t put a second one. :P

Humility and sincerity.

Talent and dedication

a dark sense of humor and unbridled honesty.
basically my two best friends :)

Respected by a wide variety of people and Spontaneity.

passion: i basically like people who have something that they would do without pay for the rest of their life just because it’s part of who they are.

dignity: i don’t even require that the person be an all around saint, but I truly appreciate when people go after their dreams in an honorable manner.

@hellosail : I like yours best; shame I’ve submitted my app so I can’t copy it. ;)

I said compassion and wit, and this is the only answer on my application that I didn’t change 1000 times.

I went with curiosity and courage.

Me: honesty and compassion. I think I should’ve gone with loyalty and maturity… too late!

i don’t know if it’s the best idea for us to post this now. RD applicants could potential just steal ideas…

i think if they’d have to steal from this thread, they’re pretty crappy Yale applicants to begin with.

– but yes-they could;;;;; then again, isn’t everyone looking to be unique anyway?

and of course i have a typo- potentially.

Yeah, I know… but still. I really want to share mine, but I think I’ll wait until 1/2. :)

optimism & altruism.

i’m afraid that my answer gave off a “holier-than-thou” sort of vibe. ohwell… too late to change it now. ):
