What type of accent are you attracted to?

British. Sexy as hell.

French accents are cute but also hilarious because they sound just like the way people over-exaggerate them to be.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

The people on Jersey Shore are actually from Staten Island, so that’s the accent you’re hating on.

^Staten Island is like 97% Guido. I remember a team from there got into the little league world series and every single kid was Italian, **** was hilarious…

You guys in love with a slight southern accent (or any at all) are definitely not from the area lol.

French and British. Russian accents send tingles down my spine. My boyfriend is from Bangladesh and his little accent is soo cute.

So I’m the only one who said russian

^ I like a russian accent as long as it is not very strong.

I’m going to be a buzzkill and mention that not one of you has a chance of ever getting it on with a English/Scottish girl (and you don’t want a Welsh girl, srsly).

or boy, for that matter

i agree haha

I see someone beat me to it, but I love the southern belle type. A nice soft drawl is very pleasing to my ears.

I like, usually, european accents. Like spanish, italian, french, german and english maybe.

I’ve been all around the South/Mid-West and I’ve met some girls who I would describe as fitting the “southern belle” archetype who have some pretty alluring accents.

I suppose living with such an accent all around you is different.

British accent on a hot blonde woman. Nuff said.

For me: British accent!

I’m from the Midwest, so I guess I have that accent, but I really can’t tell what it sounds like. I’m surprised someone said the midwestern accent was their favorite!

Unfortunately, I have a tad speech impediment that makes me sound British. Most people claim it makes me sound sophisticated and unique, I just think it’s annoying. When I’m sick I really sound British and my teachers always yell at me to stop faking a British accent…

If you don’t mind my asking, what is your speech impediment? I’ve never heard of anything like that.

I have problems with my r’s and w’s… so I occasionally sound like a little kid. But apparently I sound like a British kid.

Ah. I know someone like that. For some reason, I was imagining something that causes that English emphasis on t’s, and I thought that would be odd.

Actually, I do put an emphasis on my t’s but I don’t think it’s because of my speech impediment… it’s just something I’ve done my whole life. Maybe that adds to my British-ness?

Funny story about my speech impediment: In grade school I had to do a 20-min presentation on WWII, and since I can’t say my w’s everyone always made fun of me for it. During the weeks prior to my presentation I would spend hours at home practicing saying “World War II” until I got it right. Now I can say it perfectly!
