What type of business major should I be?

international? finance? entreprenuership? real estate?

  • I have a great interest in selling things, I used to be obsessed with trading and selling used clothes and bags in my house on Poshmark and Ebay until school started
  • In my spare time I like to go to craigslist and look at the used cars and see the best deals...(seriously I could do it for hours lol)
  • I also do the same thing with houses for sale, except it is on Zillow
  • I am not a great math person (above avg in my AP calc class but not at the top), but I do like it and I am good at the math stuff I learn in Physics 1
  • I love US history! and Government! but not AP world
  • I've sometimes had ideas in my mind about opening up a shop (fashion, restaurants, etc)

None of this is really a good indicator of what kind of business major you should pick.

The best way to pick is probably to take a few classes when you get to college and see which one attracts you the most.

If you’re not a great math person, then you may not be well suited for finance. However, you don’t need to be near the top - you just need to have some facility in quantitative analysis.

I mean a business major will take at least 1 class in almost every field of business so you might always find something you like better. Just pick what you think you may like and change if need be.
