What type of classes most impress adcomms?

I’m not in any honors courses (so please don’t recommend those), but what kind of classes can I take to increase my law school chances? All other things being equal, are adcomms usually a bunch of academic nerds? Would taking Classics for my Literature core be favorable to something like “20th Century American Lit”? Would a lot of philosophy classes help? Humanities focus? I realize that this is not a BIG deal to adcomms, but I’m fairly far along in thinking of things I could do or could be doing to increase my law school chances and I’ve come to this. And if you really don’t know the answer, what kinds of classes would most impress YOU if you were on some sort of admissions committee?

I’m just looking for some ideas here, guys.

Cheers!

Ones you get As in.

I’m not being facetious. Other than patently ridiculous classes (think “Writing Limericks about Math” or “Astrology for Fun and Profit”), any impact is vanishingly small.

Rather than cover specifics, I think it’s important to take challenging courses both in and more impressively out of your major/field of study.

American Lit vs Classics won’t make any difference, but something like pursuing an advanced track out of your major (a track of Philosophy classes perhaps leading up to either an advanced seminar junior or senior year only meant for in-major students) looks far more impressive.

thank you for the input

Ha Stacy you stole exactly what I was going to say… Nice one.
