What type of engineer

What type of engineer would work in this type of research.

computer engineer, maybe with some theoretical CS or complex systems thrown in…idk it’s an idea of immense scope

www.nano.gov

It would be nanotechnology, the last enormous boom we saw was probably the internet/www and nanotechnology will be the next big boom. It’s hard not to see that in any discipline of engineering. Even civil engineering is shifting to nanotechnology to form new materials that are lighter and stronger.
Nano would be a very good field to go into (while may be quite difficult to earn a degree in, there will be a ton of big paying opportunities in nanotech)
