what types of lawyers are there?

forgive me for m ignorance, but i dont really know what different things you can do with a degree in law. I am interested in law, but im not really the debater type. What kinds of lawyers dont debate in courts. Ive heard business lawyers dont do this, but i dont really understand what business lawyers do do.

also im an introvert. what types of law are better for introverts?

Also, what do people in international law do?

thanks for the help guys and sorry if these are stupid questions

Most lawyers have to deal with people and the courts. Even those that don't do litigation, such as estate planners, deal with clients and usually do have to deal with courts or beneficiaries if there is an estate fight.

Bottom line: You don't need to be outgoing, but you will need a modicum of people skills.

It's hard to figure out what field of law you want to go into until you actually read about the many different kinds. You just have to search through the internet, look up descriptions, and figure out what pertains to you. It would also be in your best interest to find internships at a law firm. Once your a lawyer and pass your state's bar exam, you are certified. The difference comes into play when you decide to take up a specialization, such as tax or corporate law.

Hope this helps a little.
