This question seems vague so I will explain it to you all. Okay, I previously read here that there are certain graduates who majored in something that employers actually took time to weed these people out. Anybody remember which majors those were? I think it was economics or political science but Im not sure.

It really depends on what the career is. Which are you talking about?

Well im sure certain majors like engineering look impressive to employers…

If you’re trying to get a job at a publishing house, engineering might look impressive, but it probably won’t get you the job… Unless they’re trying to build an office or publish engineering chronicles or books or what have you. Or you have other qualifications.

As said before, it depends on the field.
