what UG courses to take?

<p>Are there any specific UG courses that I need to take for b-school consideration? I’m an engineering major, so there’s only so many extra courses I can take on top of my major requirements, so I’m trying to make each of those courses count. I’m thinking about doing a minor in engin. management or operations research, but would that too specialized/inappropriate for b-schools to consider me? Or should I be taking more directly related business courses like econ101 and such? Does it really matter at all? Thanks for the help.</p>

<p>You don’t need to take any. By the time you have the work experience necessary to attend a good business school, it is quite likely that you would have forgotten much of what you learned in those classes.</p>

<p>Schools like HBS do recommend that you have “basic” business knowledge and are “comfortable” with the terminology used. Take intro <whatever> courses and you should be fine.</whatever></p>
