What universities should I consider applying to?

For some reason I was under the impression that I really have only three choices to transfer: Berkeley, UCLA or any lower tier UC. I thought you had to meet school-specific pre-requisites (i.e. the IGETC for UC’s) to even be considered. So, trying to meet every top school’s pre-requisites didn’t seem practical to me.

I see people applying with around the same GPA as mine to Ivy league schools and getting in. I thought I stood no chance because I got a couple B’s in easy, easy classes (i.e. History of Jazz and Rock) while A’s in all the hard ones (Chemistry, Biology, etc.).

This is not a chance thread, rather a thread asking which schools I should be considering.

Here is my resume

You can apply to Ivies; the only thing doing so can hurt is your wallet. You may want to take ACT or SAT though. A lot of top schools require standardized test scores. So, if you do well on the tests, you’ll have yet more reasons to apply. And if not, you can always apply without submitting your scores to those schools that do not require SAT/ACT scores. Or you can submit only the test on which you did better.

^I plan to take the SAT’s and will continue to retake until the 2300’s or by the time I need to apply. Which ever comes first.
