Would UC San Diego be a match school specifically?
UC GPA (capped weighted)? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Intended major? Budget/Affordability for UCSD or any other college? COA for in-state around $32K/year for out of state is about $60K/year?
HS course rigor? You are light on the EC’s although they are no weighted as heavily as GPA and test scores.
Home state? Interested in large publics and privates?
I’m planning on majoring in electrical engineering. My home state is California. I prefer large public schools. I’m not experienced with budget and affordability. I took 3 AP classes (Bio, Calc AB, APUSH), 2 Honor classes (lit, chem), and 1 regular class (Spanish) for junior year. I’m taking 4 AP classes (comp, calc bc, physics, gov) and 2 Honor classes (lit) in senior year. I only took honor classes during sophomore year since I transferred to a different school in 10th grade. Every AP class had summer HW and thus made it impossible for me to do any AP classes. I know my extracurriculars are weak. It’s really bringing my application down.
Ucsd would be a match school. You’d need to find 4 more (UC’s and cal poly SLO?)
Run the npc on ucsd and another uc and bring the results to your parents to see if they’re affordable.
