What University values intellect above all else?

<p>(thought provoking question!) Many top universities value intellect highly, though may put more empasis on non-intellectual pursuits such as sports, voulenteer work etc… Out of curiosity, what universities value intellect (as opposed to achievement) over all else? Make a “top 5” list.</p>

<p>I think you’ll find it difficult to define “intellect.” Think about it, how is it measured? Through your essays perhaps, but also through intellectual pursuits.</p>

UChicago should be near the top of the list though.</p>
