<p>Umm… I really don’t feel completely comfortable posting what I stated in my answer firstly because the deadline has not passed yet for online applicants (and when it does pass, kids applying to different schools can still see what’s posted in this thread). I probably shouldn’t have even stated what I said for the world record answer, but I did so there’s nothing I can do about it now (well, not word for word or anything - The answer on my application was a whole lot better and gave a better picture of my personality). However, I kind of think that question is kind of a trademark of Northwestern’s application, and I don’t think anybody that in this board really seem like copiers (at least I hope not). I think I’ll be all right on that one.</p>
<p>Secondly, my answer to the Nixon essay was kind of personal. I really don’t think there’s any way that anybody would be able to use that answer as his/her own (unless he/she is a copy of me). However, that answer might give some major clues to my real identity. I’m sure if someone on this board knows me (or is an adcom reading my essays and what not), he/she might be figure out who I am based on my prior posts. I’m not very intimidated by that fact (as of now) because I haven’t said anything offensive on this or any forum (and I don’t plan to do so either). That’s not really my style. It’s just that I don’t want people that don’t know me at all figuring out who I am.</p>

<p>I figured a lot of people would… I’m a major procrastinator though and couldn’t think of anything else at the time, so that’s what I went with.</p>
<p>I said a cure/prevention for macular degeneration (eye disease my grandpa has which is very common in the US). I figured a lot of people would do medical things, but I made my essay very personal.</p>
