What was your "expression page"

my expression page was a story saying my junior year ap eng teacher was satan and how my cocky self thought i could dominate her class and then she dominated me and then i realized she loved me and just wanted me to work harder and it was all good. it’s a pretty funny essay that i wrote for the teacher herself.

I took UVa’s “describe the world you come from” and shifted in the margins, added a little swirly thing, and then titled it the prologue of the play of my life. =D

I wrote my own acceptance letter… wrote about how “I know the admissions committee is busy, and I would love to save them some time…” Of course, it was very funny and it told them more about me.

I was accepted, and will most likely attend.

I made a collage on the comp titled “A glimpse of my life” using like 30ish pictures of me being wacky and crazy… jumping off a cliff, underwater pic wearing scuba gear, wearing crazy drag (as in slowin you down) gear for swim team (like neon blue tights… it’s a swimmer thing), with my friends, with my family, trying to eat my calculator, on my zipline, doing marching band stuff, doing theatre stuff, and much more. I wanted to add a picture of me in a coconut bra… but my mom did not think it would send the right message. HA.

Since i applied to 10 colleges it was a nice break from writting essays. I guess it worked, because i was accepted.

Personally i think this expression thing was a way for the admissions people to get out of having to read alot of essays, and to get to kno the applicants a bit
