I liked the Audi R8 ad which was a take off on the Godfather movie.
I also liked the Hyundai Genisis ad. Who would have thought Hyundai would ever have a luxury vehicle?

FedEx Pigeons was my favorite, folowed by Coke (Bill Frist and James Carville), Budweiser -horse/dog , and lifewater with the dog bowl (he was to cue and reminded me of our dog). Justin Timberlake was also a good ad

I loved the Justin Timberlake Pepsi ad and the giant balloons Coke ad. I didn’t have the sound on for the Budweiser ad with the dog and the horse. It looked cute but over-sappy. The Carville/Frist Coke ad was also nice, although I thought it was questionable judgment for both of them.

I thought the Victoria’s Secret “the game is almost over” ad was a pretty good idea, despite the fact that Victoria’s Secret kind of turns my stomach.

The only other ad I remember really liking was a GMC Yukon ad that had very nice animation that looked like it was done with a nib pen and india-ink, a stylized Sisyphus pushing a huge boulder up a steep slope. As I remember, the voice-over was somewhat nonsensical, and I was really disappointed to learn that what was being advertised was a giant hybrid SUV, but the animation itself was distinctive and had a clean, classic, minimalist feel. Also, it looked hand-made, not computer generated.

1 = The etrade baby who used the extra coin he’d made to hire a clown, but had underestimated the creepiness factor. Not only were we howling with laughter, but the ad communicated the message quite well – Using Etrade is so simple that even a baby can do it.

2 = The talking coffee stain that completely stole the interviewer’s atttention from the prospective employee’s pitch. Hysterical, plus a great ad anyone can identify with. How often have we all noticed a stain on our lapel or tie right before we have to make an impression? How often have we been completely sidetracked by some minor distraction such as spinach in the teeth or odd makeup on a business contact? Tide to the rescue.

Am I the only one who liked the Thriller dancing lizards with Naomi Campbell?

I also liked the e-Trade baby ad - not the one with the clown, but the one where he upchucked a little :). And the Dwyane Wade/Charles Barkley ad was pretty funny, too.

I loved the NFL stories one that talked about the player recruited from the grocery store…there was a really nice tone to it.
I also liked the one with the squirrel in the road who screamed and all of the other creatures that screamed in response before the car maneuvered around him.
Oh, yeah, the Prison Break one was funny, too.

I loved the grocery store to NFL ad also. It was heartwarming. The e-Trade baby ads were also favorites; we thought those two were hilarious. And the Game–wow! For once, the football was better than the commercials.

Dog lover that I am, I liked the Clydesdale horse Budweiser ad. The Pepsi ad with Justin Timberlake was amusing. I did like the fighting parade balloons, although I couldn’t help thinking about the run away balloon that either killed or seriously injured someone a few years ago. The one that made me laugh the hardest was the talking stain.

I hated the one where the heart exploded right out of the woman’s blouse - that was just gross - and somehow I think they should have used a man and not a woman for that particular imagery!

Gee roshke, I really liked the “follow your heart” ad. Maybe because I wish I had the nerve to follow mine and leave my job…

I didn’t care for the dog drinking the vitamin water. Dogs drink from the toilet - I really don’t want to drink something because a dog likes it.

I was nonplussed by the gecko/Naomi Campbell ad. I just kind of stared at the TV when it was on, then chuckled something like, “Are they suggesting it’s hallucinogenic?” to my boyfriend.

My favorites were probably the Bridgestone commercials. When the “swerve around the squirrel” one came on, I rolled my eyes and said, “This one again?” because it reminded me so strongly of a Geico ad where the squirrel deliberately runs a car off the road and hi5’s another squirrel when it’s successful. My favorite part was the screaming cricket. So cute. XD The other one, where the car swerves around Richard Simmons but only after a game of chicken made me smirk.

The Gatorade commercial with the dog sloppily drinking the water just made me scratch my head. What was that supposed to be saying? I was completely turned off the idea of drinking ANYTHING after that commercial, much less Gatorade sitting on the floor next to the bowl.

I liked
Budwiser’s Fire Breathing Sneezing and Hank/Dalmation
Bill Frist/James Carville Coke
Oboe playing NFL player
Screaming animals Bridgestone
