What was your Valedictorian's SAT/ACT? And where are they going to college?

I see where this is going ;)

Anyhow, back on track.

My class’ valedictorian got a 32 ACT and is going to Freed-Hardemann University. Our salutatorian got somewhere around 23-25, not exactly sure, and is going to Tennessee Tech.

The size of our graduating class is 243. I was number 3.

2400 yale

I might as well post the rest. This is the number of acceptance, not the number attending

38 northwestern
4 penn
8 chicago
8 cornell
4 dartmouth
7 duke
8 caltech
5 harvard
4 yale
3 princeton
4 stanford
1 Mit
1 columbia

Class of about 700, open admission public

damn. That’s impressive. like damn. That’s a competitive high school.

We don’t have class rank

valedictorian: 32ACT, will be attending northwestern
Salutatorian: 33ACT, will be attending stanford

weird thing is that our valedictorian got rejected from stanford, but they had exactly the same extra-cirriculars (they were like Siamese twins, best friends that did everything together)

both were also asian, so weird

^ maybe the essays/personal statement &/or recs.

Harvard. (This was last year’s, I’m not sure about this year though)

i guess it could’ve been the recs or statements, but it’s always a crap-shoot when you apply to hysp. unless if your insanely amazing and are a us olympiad gold medallist or something of the sort.

How??! WHY?!

like 2000 and ucla.

she’s not the smartest though, i don’t even know how she got rank #1

there’s plenty of kids in our class who got higher scores and better colleges. i think one got a 35 on act and is going to harvard

2100 Cornell.

my school district doesn’t recognize any valedictorians or salutatorians, and our system of class ranking is rather unfair (several students ranked above myself have made B semester averages while I have made only A’s, and non academic classes such as band and the first couple years of foreign languages are counted as 6 points on a 7.0 scale…), but anyways…
this guy ranked number one in this year’s senior class had a 2380 SAT, and is attending Wharton. I know one or two others with the same SAT score, one attending Princeton. A girl with ~2330 attending Rice (rather than CalTech, because of money). A good number of people got 35s on the ACT, but idk about 36’s. There are several other students attending ivys and as many or more going to other top 20 schools. Class of 1200 in a competitive public school. Last year’s class was the inaugural class, and I know one girl who had a 2380 and went to Duke, a guy with a 2220 who went to Columbia, along with the guy who was ranked 1 (idk his SAT score) and again several people with 35’s on the ACT.

My class so far is not as impressive, albeit we have <700 whereas the previous two were 1200+ and 940. Only myself and my friend have scored in the 2300s, and he and another girl have a 35 on the ACT.

I know our Val last year got a 2030 (or 2060, I don’t remember) and went to UVa, I know because I personally asked her.

Because its a top public. We have tons of athletes and like 26 APs. Lol Brag time

The class is a little under 700 people I think, and the colleges like us
Almost 40% acceptance rate for NW
Average 33% acceptance at Caltech for past 5 years and 50% this year

four people in the graduating class at my school got perfect scores on the SAT/ACT…
my school is insane

wow porkperson, if you don’t mind me asking, which state are you from?

i go to a top private in canada, and our stats are nowhere near as good as those :/

our valedictorian is going to upenn. the saledictorian at my old school got a 2400 and went to princeton.

Val: 34 I believe and is going to Rice for their med program.
Sal: idk her scores, but she’s going to Yale.

Val: Toledo (full volleyball scholarship)
Sal: University of Cincinnati school of Architecture

The Sal was much smarter than the Val, but you guys know how that goes.

This past class was considered very stupid, obviously. The year before we had a couple Northwesterns, Case Westerns, and and one kid turned down Michigan, Case, either Dartmouth or Cornell (I can’t remember), and I think NYU to go to Ohio University on a Full tuition+room and board+a ton of other perks.

Valedictorian of this year is going to Cornell
The next few people include 2 to Harvard, 1 to UPenn, and no clue about the rest (although I know someone ranked like 10 is going to Saint Johns University…)
