What was your Valedictorian's SAT/ACT? And where are they going to college?

For class of 2010:

34 ACT
Northwestern
also in at uChicago, UIUC, IIT. Didn’t apply anywhere else.

applied to Wash U ED and got in. didn’t apply anywhere else

We had two.

33 ACT. Attending Northwestern, rejected by MIT.

Don’t know ACT score. Attending Northwestern.

1700 SAT.

Applied to NYU . Rejected.

Will attend Queens College.

Salutatorian - 1850 SAT … applied to Yale, Cornell, and Boston College.
Rejected Yale, Waitlisted Cornell, Accepted to BC.
Turned down BC to attend Binghamton.

The Class of 2010 isn’t really that bright.

^ How many people attend your school?

We have SIX valedictorians in addition to TEN salutatorians. Our school has like 2700~ people. The graduating class is 530~ but my class(sophomore) is 704… fail

We have Stanford, Yale, USC, then a bunch of UCLA and Berkeley I think

Also, a Sal is going to Stanford and the Yalee got into Stanford

We have about 500 or 1000 seniors in the school.

Last year, our valedictorian had 2250 SAT and got into Columbia.

^ Those scores are quite surprising then!

Silverturtle: I don’t attend Stuyvesant, Queens Science High School, Townsend Harris, or any of those competitive private high schools. It’s large public school in a suburban area, which I will not say.

Well, even for a middle-of-the-road school, one would expect the class rank percentile to match roughly with the standardized testing percentile.

We have a bunch of Vals.

Princeton (1, me) 2300
Dartmouth (1) 2400
UPenn (2) Not Sure
Drexel (1) Not Sure
Penn State (1) Not Sure
Wake Forest (1) Not Sure

I don’t ask people for their SAT scores, so I don’t know those. I would guess that they were quite high.

The two valedictorians chose (respectively) U Vermont and U Chicago.

I don’t know his SAT scores… I think he got a 35 on the ACT though (or close).

Full ride to Rhode College (plus money for dorm, books, etc).
He likes small schools (we had 100 kids per grade, so I can see that).
He told me that he didn’t apply to any Ivies because he didn’t like the large student population, etc.

Our educational system sucks.

uhhh. My school has 18 valedictorians…no joke…

All UC’s or Cal Poly SLO, Dartmouth, Duke, and UPenn

Wow.

My valedictorian got perfect SAT and ACT scores. He’s going to Stanford, which is where a co-salutatorian is going to. I don’t know either of the co-salutatorians’ scores, though. The other co-salutatorian is going to CalTech, which he chose over MIT.

Current School

Class of 2010

Class of 2009

As you can see my current school is ****ty

Don’t know but

Salutatorian: Brown…

TRUFFLIEPUFF, the SAT is scored in intervals of ten.
