what will colleges make of this?

So my deal is that even though I show an upward grade trend from sophomore year to junior year, the intensity of my courseload declined. But this wasn’t by choice. Of course I wanted to challenge myself in my junior year and i definitely had the determination to do so. However my school is so damn uptight about prerequisites that I was forced to drop down from hns math and science. For example, I went into the summer of my soph year thinking i had met the prerequisite for math, but the supervisor had the nerve to send me a letter mid-summer telling me that there was a mistake with my 3rd marking period grade and that my final grade was actually a tenth(!!) of a point below the prerequisite.

Granted it is my fault for not performing well(due to a lack of motivation rather than ability). But how will colleges look at the fact that even though I did really well my junior year(a drastic improvement from 10th), my courseload was relatively light compared to that of my soph year?

They’re obviously going to wonder why the level of your courses have dropped in a signifcant manner, perhaps I recommend that you request from your teacher that s/he somehow informs each college of the situation, or something like that, though I must say it is an odd situation, but anyway…
