What will prepare me better for law school, Grinnell or Macalester?

I’m an international high school student. Now, I’m deciding between Grinnell and Mac, and wanna know what’s better school for law.

I don’t think it really will make any difference. You can get into law school with any undergraduate degree. Developing good writing and reasoning skills are important preparation for law school and you get those skills at either school. The academic rigor at both schools is similar

Info on law school admissions from the Grinnell website.

Thanks!!!

i’d say macalester. i can’t even explain why, but i just think it would. it’s in a real city so opportunities for jobs and internships will be much more readily available. i think grinnell would definitely prepare you academically, but not as much in experience.

that’s not the only reason, it’s just a gut feeling. good luck!

Most students at Grinnell spend at least one semester off-campus. Internships are available in the Grinnell-in-London and the Grinnell-in-Washington semester programs and many students at Grinnell participate in summer internships off campus. There are probably more opportunities for internships for on-campus students in Minneapolis- St. Paul during the school year for Macalester students but I don’t know how many students are involved in these types of programs.
