What work of art has inspired you? Is sign language considered a work of art.

Do y’all think sign language would be considered a work of art? it’s what i want to talk about, but i dont want to vary too much from the prompt. Thoughts and suggestions?

My first piece of advice is this: You should not post the same question 3 times, in 3 separate posts.

With that said, my second piece of advice is this: Re-read the question. The question does NOT ask anything about what has “inspired” you. Too many people read the question quickly and write about what has inspired them - which misses the point of the question. The actual question is:

"What work of art, music, science, mathematics, or literature has surprised, unsettled, or challenged you, and in what way? "

The implication here meaning you need to write about something that changed your mind or challenged your beliefs in a profound way. The question is looking for how you process and deal with information from a different or unexpected perspective. Are you open to different views, debate, and information that challenges your strongly held beliefs? It is not looking for a story of personal inspiration - unless of course that was borne out of your being challenged by a work of art. Good luck.
