My status: SCEA, deferred

My primary question is whether or not it is advisable to send peer testimonials.

I probably won’t have any further achievements within school since school has ended for me.

Absolutely not.

School has ended–meaning you’ve graduated? If so, what are you going to be doing for the next several months? You could update Yale about your upcoming activities if that is the case.

Thanks to both of you.

Yes, I have graduated. I don’t have much going on over the next 7-8 months, apart from a 3-month internship, which I’ve already informed Yale about under “Additional Information”. I’m less inclined, and have been less inclined, to partake in big community projects because I’m a national athlete and spend a lot of time training, not to mention travelling - and that disrupts my involvement in anything else.

After my internship ends in April, however, I do intend on doing volunteer tutoring for underpriveliged kids. This was an independent decision, and one that I can’t exactly tell Yale either, since I’ll probably start in April.

yes, you can tell Yale about that, if you’re sure that you’re gonna start your volunteer tutoring. its entirely up to Yale how much they’re gonna weigh it, but there’s no harm as long as you’re telling the truth.

I agree…as long as it is the truth, why not?
