What would a college think of someone going double honors?

<p>Algerbra 2, functions and trigonomtry, honors calculus, AP statistics</p>

<p>im trying to test out of algerbra 2 so my schedule will look like</p>

<p>fst, calculus, stat, college classes</p>

<p>how good would this be viewed by ivies</p>

<p>More rigorous is always better (assuming you can get good grades) but as far as what Ivies will think, it’s nothing particularly special, I guess.</p>

<p>For a selective college they are going to look at whether your counselor said you took the most challenging courseload. So go ask your counselor what box they are going to check on the Common App. As for Ivies, your classes are just one part of the admission decision. They look at not just honors classes, but the entire package: your essays, your recs, your ECs, your SAT scores. Taking challenging classes is a good thing but by no means will it alone be enough to be a candidate with a chance.</p>
