I have the sat chem test a mere 3 days away! What would be my score range for an actual test?

200-800. ;)

Forget the score for a minute and ask yourself about your experience taking the practice test.

Did you feel that you were comfortably familiar with the material the test covered, and that the good score you received accurately reflects your knowledge of the subject?

Or did you feel that there were significant chunks of material that were unfamiliar to you and that you lucked out by scoring so high?

Those fake-question tests can range all over the map: some are too hard, some are too easy, many are filled with typos that make it impossible to get the right answer. I would use such guides as a way to determine your weak areas for review and then follow up with real former SAT or ACT tests – those should give you very accurate benchmarks.

From what I’ve seen Barron’s books are usually more difficult than the actual test, especially their science and math books. Many of the kids from my school that have used Barron scored 20-100 points higher than what they got on the practice tests.

that helps! thanks Do any of you guys have experiences of scoring higher after taking the barrons practice tests?

I personally don’t have any experience with it but I am working my way through the Barron’s math 2 and chem books for the October tests. They have all the Info you need for the tests and the practice tests are challenging but include all of the material. I guess I’ll see this october

I don’t understand. I took a princeton test and received a 610 while for Barron’s I got a 740…I’m really worried now :(

at the same time, it was the last princeton practice test, and i heard that it was the hardest…i’m not too sure though.
