what would be some good match schools for me?

I’m a rising senior living in New York and I go to an extremely competitive public high school. I’m looking to stay somewhere on the east coast and major in journalism. My essay will be AWESOME (I hope!) and I know that I can get some really solid letters of recommendation.

GPA- 3.3 UW
SATs - 660-CR 730-Writing 690-Math (2080 overall)
SAT IIs - 660 USH, I plan on taking math in October
My school does not rank.
By the time I graduate, I will have taken 3 APs: AP US History, AP Psych, AP Spanish
Honors classes: chemistry, Spanish, math
4 years of field hockey, 2+ hours of volunteering every week since the beginning of sophomore year, 4 years of photography, awards for creative non-fiction writing, editor of school newspaper…

I’m looking at Boston University, Skidmore, American University, University of Delaware, Hamilton, Franklin & Marshall, Syracuse, and SUNY Binghamton. I’d love to not be in the middle of nowhere, although my list may suggest otherwise (Hamilton, F&M, etc.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You’ve already got Syracuse on your list - that was the obvious school that occurred to me.

I suggest taking a look at Northeastern University and Emerson College in Boston and Fordham University in NYC.

Check out Bucknell U. It seems to fit among your chosen schools.
