What would be some good schools for me?

Hi all. I am looking to transfer to a four year university, but would like to explore what schools could be best for a student like me.

I am interested in a Business degree but am looking specifically at Marketing. This spring I graduated with my AA degree which puts my current college gpa at 2.91.

I live in the southeast part of Minnesota and I don’t want to stray too far from home,I would like to stay in the Midwest

I would just like to hear what schools have a good reputation and or program that other people have been happy with.

Thanks!

I would start by talking to your CC advisor about which instate schools would have articulation agreements with your CC so that you can maximize the amount of credits you can transfer.

Then see which schools might be affordable.

The obvious one would be UM-Twin Cities, your flagship.

You have the reciprocity agreement with Wisconsin schools, so UW-Madison is another outstanding option. UW-Whitewater would be a far less selective school that is known for its Business program.

What can your family afford? You can’t really go out of state if your family is low income.
