What would be the best solution in this situation to maximize my chances of getting into NYU?

Hello guys, please give me some advice.

Next year I will be the one of those applicants applying to NYU, class of 2020. My application deadlines will be at the beginning of 2016 etc etc. My problem is,

that basically I have graduated from my high school in United States in 2015. I am from Poland, but I have graduated in US and my biggest plan and goal was to apply to New York University. I have applied last year, but I did not get in. Also, it kind of ended up even better for me this time, but now I really would love to apply again and get in!

Okay, but here is the dilemma. My parents really would like me to go to college this year, finish my first year somewhere in Europe and then apply to NYU as a transfer student. Or, I could do nothing this year or something/start college in January and do not finish it, and then apply as normal Undergraduate student. Now, I really do not know what way would be better for me and kind of - giving me a higher chance of getting in.

My grades were not as high as I wanted them to be; my GPA was unfortunately 3.0 and that destroys everything. This year I am going to improve my SAT at least to 2100, get a lot of job/extracurricular stuff to put this into my application. Also, I will make a bomb essay and so on. My GPA in this situation is a deal. But, I wonder if I would go to college for one year now, those grades from this first year might help me actually with this application somehow. But I do not know then, if even when starting college I could apply as an undergraduate…

Because I was planning to go to NYU, I did nnot have a great second option and I was left with nothing at the end. Now I try to apply to NYU again, but I really do not know what is the best way for me to do it. Also, do you have any advice for me what should I do to kind of “cover” this bad GPA with other things? I have possibilities to get a lot of “jobs” to have a confirmation of being interested in particular field which I wanna apply to.

The biggest even dfghjkjhgf is that I am trying to apply to NYU Stern.

Please, give me any advice and I would be grateful for you forever, because you may have a greater knowledge than me in this topic.

Thank you so much and pretty sorry for making it so long to read.
