I worked in banking operations/investment administration for a number of years before becoming a permanent stay at home parent.
The careers I think I would have enjoyed didn’t really exist when I went to university. Even if they had, I didn’t then know that they would have been of interest to me, and I also wouldn’t have believed that I’d have had the aptitude to pursue them.
Retrospectively I would have enjoyed either being some kind of data analyst (I do love me a good spreadsheet) preferably applied to scientific research or social improvement, or a paleo/archeogeneticist.
