<p>I took the October SAT Reasoning test. This was my second sitting: the first time I got a score of 2290. The biggest reason I retook was to improve my Essay score, which i got a 9 in the first time.</p>
<p>However, apart from my essay, I do not think I did that well on my retake. The only thing i feel confident about is my essay and maths section. So I was wondering if it will look bad if my second SAT test score is lower than my first one? </p>
<p>I could go around the problem by using Score Choice, or cancelling, but i’m a bit ambivalent because I feel that my Writing section went pretty well. Some colleges, like Yale and Stanford, ask for all my tests to be sent. Do you think they will care that my second sitting was lower in total but improved my superscore?</p>
