Just wondering how many of you guys are like me, still continue to read these discussions on schools you would have LOVED to go to but had to decline for whatever reason.
I wouldn’t call it regret because I haven’t begun attending the school I chose as of yet (im a '12). I for one picked another school over Duke but I still come to this forum pretty often to read up on what’s going on at Duke, what the people who chose to attend are like and what it would have been like if I had been one of them.

Yeah, it’s natural I suppose. You should have come to Duke though bro.

Yeah, I somewhat do that, randomly go on the Cornell or NU boards or something. But it isn’t often because I think I’m happier at Duke than I ever could have been at any of the colleges I was considering (though I’m sure I’d say the same thing about those colleges if I’d gone to those lol) and so I’d rather just be here discussing the college I know/love and encouraging '12-ers to come here. But, UphillBattle, like me you’ll find that you LOVE wherever it is you’re going next year and will slowly but surely decrease your visits to the Duke forum.

I had to turn down Duke for financial reasons, but I’m going to U of M. I look through these boards from time to time.

haha yeah i was in love with two schools and i had to pick one - it wasn’t duke. i hope my children, if i should have any, will consider duke! ;)

Yeah, I still come on here even though I had to pick my state university instead of duke because of financial issues… Its really kinda saddening sometimes though…
