I would love to see Miley Cyrus! Crazy, but I think she is cool, talented, interesting. She has been a delight on Howard Stern and she killed it on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
Alan Walker.
I saw her SNL performance wearing an open jacket with no shirt!
That must have been some industrial strength tape ![]()

^Old fogies don’t necessarily mind seeing that …
This Mom has gone to see Volbeat, Apocolyptica, Sonata Arctica and The Rasmus with her kid. I’d go see any of them again.
Not a Miley Cyrus fan. Or Howard Stern for that matter.
We go to concerts all the time and keep current on music in the genres we like. I am surprised how many people ,y age get stuck in a musical time warp and don’t listen to much new.
Lady Gaga is also very interesting to me and has been for some time. Would love to hear Rag ’ n’ Bone Man
sing "Human. " Rap, hip hop is also interesting. We have lots of access these days to what is being produced by younger artists. I’m grateful for that.
I don’t even recognize any of those names.
Supertramp, Aerosmith, Journey, … yep.
I’d go see Dean Lewis.
Vampire Weekend, Vance Joy, Sufjan Stevens. I don’t know how “young” they are, but they’re some of my favorite musical artists of all time.
I’ve seen both Vampire Weekend and Sufjan. Both were good. Vampire Weekend is especially good live.
Music festivals are a great way to see a lot including newer musicians or groups you don’t know about.
My favorite live performances from this past summer were Moses Sumney and Tank and the Bangas. War and Treaty was my favorite “never knew about them before” performance.
haha @doschicos my friend’s son plays guitar and bass for The War and Treaty they are awesome
That’s cool, @luckybooth! Then he’s been on the road a ton this year. It’s nice to see them having increasing success! Michael’s story/background is really interesting.
Lady Gaga is at the top of my list.
Lady Gaga for sure! Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Taylor Swift.
The Killers. I’ve seen them before and they put on a great show.
Kesha, The War on Drugs, , Courtney Barnett, Vampire Weekend, Walk the Moon, Bleachers, Chvrches, Portugal. The Man, Houndmouth, Brandi Carlile
Only younger act I’ve gotten to is Frank Turner whom I’ve seen several times and puts on amazing shows.
The only reason I (and many of my generation) even know these groups:
Supertramp - James Blunt covered
Aerosmith - Liv Tyler’s dad and American Idol
Journey - Glee covered
I’m 60 and could not name a Supertramp song if my life depended on it.
Wish I had seen Amy Winehouse perform. Her talent is compelling to me.
