We spent the weekend at our cottage. Hung out on the dock yesterday, and the weather was glorious. We took the boat in this morning. We had hoped to leave it in another couple weeks, but my FIL was diagnosed with COVID-19 yesterday. He doesn’t have any symptoms at this point, but we don’t know what the next couple weeks may bring. We had to get the boat out of the water before the pier guys come to bring in the boat lift - if we have to run to Georgia, we need to have the boat in before we leave.
We spent the weekend camping in the mountains with D1, her bf and pup and D2. It was a beautiful weekend and we were able to do some nice hikes and hang out. It was the 9 month old husky pup’s first camping trip and he was terrific. H was working on his beer pong skills! Slept great on the new camping mattress. We are now looking to plan a Thanksgiving camping trip.
@CountingDown Thanks so much for that endorsement. I decided to read the play first, and realized that it’s worth watching the production online. I can see why The Humans is Pulitzer Prize finalist. Sadly, the offering ends tomorrow (10/2).
