Whatever happened to...?

I’m legendofmax, obviously.

I did date a girl I met on CC, here, for perhaps two years or so. I have a new girlfriend now here at Penn (definitely makes the long-distance issue a… well, non-issue).

As for my mother, we still clash over finances. I basically have to bite the bullet and take loans out of the tailpipe to make ends meet. I am not looking forward to this disgusting amount of payback.

Hi Legend! Good luck…

I’ve gotten thankyous - not here, but for longtime posting on AOL forums, it feels great to get them.

As a professional writer, I must say that you have a depth to your writing that is expressive and rare, even in adults. I really hope that you use it to your advantage, and maybe even to help others oneday.

I have helped a few people through PM’s, and I have been pleasantly surprised at the thank yous I have received. One poster in particular was very nice, but I never did hear whether or not she got into Smith (she had applied as a transfer student). I was tempted to PM her and ask her if she got in, but I was afraid maybe she hadn’t gotten good news.

sunshadow, thank you so much! :)

When I first started reading & posting on CC, there was a lot of discussion in one thread about fraternities and drinking. There was one young man in particular (CC name was lucifer-something) who posted often, saying how he and his friends were experienced drinkers, knew how to handle themselves, etc. He was very adamant about debating the anti-drinking, anti-party posters.
Shortly after, someone posted a link to an article about a Cornell student who died after a night of heavy drinking while visiting a friend at UVA… Am sure many of you remember–
What a waste of a bright young life, and what a heartbreaking thing for his parents to go through.

has anyone heard from Jamimom? I really valued her posts.
