all this cuse talk is GREAT! no offense. but i just wanted to make a thread where we get to know each other. talk about random stuff. this and that. u kno…so wassup???

well. right now im listening to this gnarls barkley cd and im kinda liking it. its not the best cd on the earth. its one of those cds where u gotta get used to it. my fav song besides crazy is prolly ‘transformer’. i also like ‘just a thought’.

ok well i was born here in atlanta ga. i curse alot. like im struggling over here trying not to type a curse word. itll come up in another post. i realize when i get to cuse ill be the angry black girl and im ok with that. um. fav artists. lol. i have too many. i really love pharrell williams and anything thats involved with his label and all that. theyre prolly the people that got me into japan and bape…nigo…all that good stuff. theyre also prolly the people that got me into terry kennedy…professional skateboarder. love that dude. and no i dont skate. my fav rapper is eminem tho. and fav singer is kelis. i love all her old ****. her old music is the soundtrack to my LIFE.

hobbies: my DELL (excuse me papersignals). i draw a little. i also have a superb knowledge of hip hop. and i can defend why my favorite rapper is eminem in 20 seconds flat. ask me. ill lay it all out for u. cuz people are alwayz askin me why him.

foods: mac and cheese. chicken. shrimp scampi (drools). and OH. my fav drink is sorrell.

bad habits: cursing. sucking my tongue. i have a lisp. but u dont notice it until i tell u and being sarcastic. it gets me in alot of trouble.

fav tv shows: i used to love black/white. i have alot to say about like race and stuff. i love arguing with people about race. well…arguing period. i joining the debate team. i also looooooooove family guy. now. these next shows are a little off but theyre my favs so shut the hell up.

clothes: i don’t know **** about brand names, and it’s fine when people do and clothes are their life but i’m going to be really annoyed when i find the girls that brag about buying the most expensive brand names. I hate snobs.

i have a name-remembering problem in general i think. i don’t know the names of many actors. This year i learned “Richard Gere” and “Daniel Radcliffe.” XD I always forget people’s names in real life, sometimes it makes me lose friends for those really sensitive types. I have no clue who Pharell williams is, nor how he’s related to Japan.

My fave artist is probably Jem, tho that’s only recently, and the only other time i had a fave artist was 5th grade–the backstreet boys lol. (I thought Nick Carter was la bomba.) My fave genre is REGGAETON, and I hope there’s a reggaeton/latino radio channel in Syracuse, or i’m just going to have to dl hella music illegally.

I say “hella” because I’m west coast.

I really want to go to Japan and England. I kind of want to visit France. I would like to return to Spain and Costa Rica. I need to take a road trip to Mexico one summer. I’m GOING to see Canada while i’m at SU one spring break with buds who speak french. “bonsoir!”

When i go to Japan, I’m so going to hang out with cute japanese guys. oh godddd i cant wait.

I’m going to miss San Francisco’s cable cars full of tourists, because I love to yell hello, hola, or konnichiwa at them and have them wave back.

“Ya lublu tebya” means “i love you” in russian. did you know that? oh ho! “Dai tsvaio miest, babushka” means, “give me your seat, grandmother.”

my fave color might be white. but i like yellow too. green is beautiful as well. I used to hate pink, but we’ve come to a truce, and i now have pink clothes.

I live my life as if I’m going to write a book in my middle age. I always tell ppl that. I like to learn about any little interesting tidbits of info, plus all aobut diff cultures and countries, because i figure one day it’ll help me create a rich fantasy world. Authors who know what they’re talking about are always the best authors. You can’t really write about knights just from your imagination, it lacks substance and “reality” haha.

cursing: i say the equivilant of “poo” a lot lol, depending on my mood and hte people i’m with. I only use the f word when i’m saying that’s “****ing rude” or something along the lines. I never say f— you, and usually the only times i use b---- is when i’m teasing a guy. (I’m rather sensitive about curse words sometimes)

race: unlike you, melo, i don’t particularly like arguing about race or anything, but that’s mostly cause i’m so multiethnical and cause i usually fit in with most kinds of people, so it’s never been a big deal to me. I admit, however, that recently I’ve been talking more about white ppl and azns more n ever b4. mostly cause i’m going from 75% asian school to like 90% white college and i’m going to miss people knowing what “Gong xi fa chai!” means.

I love to introduce people (and find it rude when people don’t introduce me to the person they’re talkign to right in front of me). Often i do it multiple times for fun. (I wrote about that in my essay haha. something along the lines of “i like to unite people.” i think SU loved my essay about accepting people/diversity/gay ppl etc. Note melo that still doesn’t mean i like to argue about this stuff, it just means i’m accepting and openminded and FROM SAN FRANCISCO ooooo! i wonder if i mentioned tha tin my essay… o ya i did haha)

i have a black cat. I LOVE hamsters. I’m afraid of scary big dogs that glare at me and growl at me and bark at me and follow me around ready to bite my face off. Esp. female ones that belong to a male friend. I say this cause of my male friend’s possessive female rottwieler. Shudders They told me i have to get down and get in her face. oh god. when i pet her she growled at me. eeee scary shiiitt.

Melo, my friends made a show based on BlackWhite called BrownYellow. You can find it on youtube haha it’s f’n hilarious. (and u can see ppls at my school!) (I love the Mexicans lol (even tho they aint all mexican haha).) Family guy IS HILARIOUS, but i hardly ever watch it. I hardly ever watch TV shows in general, but i do watch movies. My fave is LOTR, followed by The Fifth Element. Potter and The Matrix are good too. Double Take is hilarious. I love that line about Mexicans.

I love to draw, but i hardly ever get time to write. I do imagine though. a ton. I find it hard to settle on one of my fantasies to write aobut tho, esp cause i always want to write a novel and that’d take me like years haha. I’m currently settled on one. It’s in that stage where i’m outlining it and probably will continue to outline it for months.

I esp like to draw comics, manga style haha. And i esp. like to draw people, realistic or not. The onyl art class i ever took was one in Figure Drawing with charcoal. I plan to take diff art classes this summer tho. I’d like to learn ceramics/sculture or painting, esp. oil painting.

I love to read, mostly fiction.

I’m interesting in Interior Design—leaning to Architecture, Advertising Design—leaning to advertising and marketing, languages, and culture. I hate math. I like science, esp. environmental science (as in, solar energy, water resources, etc.)

I like to try new restraunts based on thier reviews online, and i only hope a college student can afford to do so.

I need to relearn how to bike hehe.

Possibly the thing about me people love and remember most is my laugh (easy, loud, contagious. In middle school, the librarian always shhhed me 'cause i laughed really loudly in the library hahaha.)

I love funny people. If i was attracted to two guys and one was funny and average looking, while the other was drop dead gorgeous but with no humor whatsoever, i’d choose the funny guy in a heartbeat.

faleene i knew u would answer first. and i ****ing looooooooooooooooooove reggaeton. i hope they have a station up there too. or…we should start one!!! at uga u can start anything and get money to start it too. and i kno 15,000+ people paying $40,000+/yr can get us money to start one.

my fav reggaeton artists are prolly don omar and wisin y yandel. tho i think the luny tunes beats all sound the same.

now i will continue reading your post. that part about the reggaton just moved me.

haha as i sadi i dont really keep track of “names” be they artists or actors, so the only ones i know of are Wisin y Yandel and Daddy Yankee. I just listen to the rest on the radio and never hear thier names. X) If we started a college radio station for reggaeton that’d be hilarious!!! I’m not sure if i would want to ssit there all day DJing though, unless I was paid.
I’ve never heard of Don Omar, tell me some songs u like by him and I’ll dl em. One of my good friends is Costa Rican so when we hang out we always listen to Reggaeton in his car (which, admittedly, is a recent developement. :p)

well im also open minded too which is why i argue abotu race and religion and sexual orientation. i have friends from all walks of life and i really hate it when people discriminate against gay people the most. i hate when people say people choose to be gay. it makes me really mad. sexual orientation is as much of a choice as gender and race.

the thing im going to miss about atlanta is the big city/southern hospitality thing it has going on. people are just…nice.

nice but crazy. it sounds twisted but im going to miss the stupid violent **** that happens here. im gonn miss the way it looks. like in the real ghetto parts the peeling walls on the buildings. the graffiti. gettin your hair done at some ghetto girls house in east point. little kids with grills. i hate grills but i think thats hilarious.the liquor stores. talkin to the homeless people. roller skating. MARTA. im gonna miss watching atlanta come up.

my school is very diverse too. were like 50% black. 25% african…then theres all kindsa middle easterns and things like that. i only have a few asian friends bcuz most of them only like to hang out with asian people and if theyre not hanging out with asian people they complain about the lack of asian people and if theyre not complaining about the lack of asian people theyre making subtle jokes about their not being any asian people as if theyre ok with it but actually theyre not.

i have alot of african friends and they all have nick names. specially my friend raymond. hes from sierra leone and when he first came here he told everyone he was the prince of the whole west africa and we believed it. so we took that and ran with it. hes the prince. his other nickname is disco.

then theres terrorist. his name is terrorist bcuz hes from somalia and he wants to be a pilot when he grows up. and then theres porque. hes from panama and terrorist named him porque bcuz it was the only spanish word he knew.

I love nicknames. I even made one up for myself cause no one gav eme one lol. So in 10th grade on the first day i announced in every class that I’d like to be called Boo, and some teachers still call me it. I chose “boo” because my friend was supposed to be “Tee.” but then she didn’t want to be “tee” so i was stuck without my “tee.”
