What're you worried about/looking forward to?

Semester’s about to start! What’s everyone looking forward to? I for one am looking forward to checking out all the clubs again this year, but I’m a little worried about my courses…

Everybody’s worried about their courses, believe me. I’m also worried how our football team is gonna perform this year. I hope we beat at least U$C and Stanfurd. Go Bears!

Worried about academics, obviously. Also worried about being a complete loner because of studying too much and having no social life as a result.

@Provecho - Don’t worry about that second one (and don’t sweat it too hard on the first one, either, honestly). My observations indicate that it takes some pretty strenuous effort to actually be lonely here, particularly when you’re living in the halls.

Haha thanks for the reassuring comments.

I am worried about my audition for Our Town on the twenty seventh. There is literally no information about the audition on the internet and I don’t know if I have enough time to prepare or not. I’m also worried about my course load, theres this class I really want to get in to, but if I get in it I will have 16 units. I might have to drop another class I wanted to take which kinda sucks. I’m looking forward to my classwork though, except statistics.

Getting my grades up… If I can get a 3.2 by the end of this year, I’m in good shape for grad school/dentistry school :D

Grades… obviously but I’m also worried on how I will deal with my laptop and keys. I have a really bad memory and tend to lose them…

For my keys, I have a lanyard that I put in my pocket or hang around my neck. I always leave a bit of the lanyard dangling out so I know I have my keys on me. :)

For the laptop, maybe find a way to lock it to your backpack? Although, this doesn’t help if you forget your backpack often as well. :P

I’m worried about grades (of course!) and how I’m going to balance 18 units as well as a social life…But I’m looking forward to exploring Berkeley/SF and meeting new people :)

worried about academics (obviously, like all), but also about making a good group of friends, and ppl judging me by first impression

Ok, thanks for the advice. So far I have kept my keys in my ID card holder secure, along with my room key. My laptop is also secured since I never bring it to anywhere other than my room. And somehow I still manage to lose my phone… I’m so pitiful :(
