What's a cohort?

<p>A cohort is a specific group, usually organized chronologically…</p>

<p>so for example, on that site, cohort 1 is the first group of people to enter the program. Cohort 2 is the second group of matriculants to enter the program (ie, second year the program was around). Cohort 3 is the third group of matriculants (third year the program was around), and so on.</p>
