What's a Letter of Good Standing? Is it the same as a Letter of Recommendation?

I’m applying for a summer camp at USC, and for minors, they require students to submit a “Letter of Good Standing”

Is that the same thing as a Letter of Recommendation? Or does it mean something else?

Here’s what they say:

“Minor students (16 & 17 year olds) are required to submit their most recent transcript and a Letter of Good Standing from a school official. These documents must to be submitted with the application.”

I’d appreciate the help! Thanks!

It means you are not on grade-related or disciplinary probation of any sort. It is not a letter of recommendation; it is a verification that you are on good terms in your school.
