How important are minors to potential employers? For example, if I was to major in Biology, but minor in economics or management, would I still be considered for economic/management-related jobs? Assuming that I have a good GPA and graduated from a reputable school.
Thanks!
I would say minor are close to meaningless. Majors aren’t that meaningful either for econ/mamagement really. You can get into the field with just a solid GPA and interviewing well. Engineers are regularly hired into management/finance roles with little or no background just because employers know they’re problem solvers.
