Like Phi Theta Gamma, what are they are what do they usually do? Is it anything like a fraternity?
I was in an honors society at a community college. They literally did nothing except give me a certificate proving my membership. I’m sure they have scholarship opportunities but I never took advantage of them. Pretty much just used my membership as a resume/application booster.
Do you mean Phi Theta Kappa? That’s a community college honors society that I’m a part of. My chapter does a number of different things. They have a collaborative research project that they do every year resulting in a paper and presentation. They also do some kind of service project for the school every year. I’m not really an active member though. I basically joined so that I’d have it on my transcript.
