<p>Canes, Fair chance. Applying this late surely works against you, but you’ve still got a shot. USF does some type of rolling admissions, but could cut off apps anytime or cap admissions–lots of students are filling up all Fl universities. Formal deadline for apps for Fall '10 freshmen at USF I think is March 1, however, get your app done double asap now! USF is buried in probably close to 25,000 apps already so get your app in immediately (rat now!) if you are serious, otherwise forget about it. Have your school send your transcripts with midyear grades pronto, and get your ACT and SAT scores sent immediately to USF–don’t wait for anything.
Completing the Facts.org admission app for USF is pretty easy and you don’t do an essay for USF, nor need recommendations–they will want your application fee though before they process your app–pay it up front online when completing app.</p>
<p>Your ECs and being Asian won’t help you one way or another. Grades, course rigor, grade trend, and test scores are primary criteria used by USF admissions. Check out attached link to see if you match up with USF admission matrix. Note well all the fine print in the matrix, particularily all the minimum standards required. Good luck and get moving, March 1 might be too late, apply today! </p>
