What's better: minor or more classes related to major?

I’m an aspiring UCLA student. I recently chose my major, Linguistics and Computer Science. IT seems a little weak in the CS aspect so I was wondering what would be better, to take more CS and Linguistics classes or to get a minor? A minor would be in a language, since I would need to fulfill a language requirement for the major itself.

Anybody care to share some of their experiences?

Please respond.

What are your long-term goals? It’s hard to answer a question like this because it really depends on what you want.

Yeah, it really depends on what you want to do with your life later… If you’re doing CS later in life, do CS. If you wanna do linguistics, get that minor in another language.

If you’re doing a combination (have no idea *** that would be), then it’s really a matter of personal preference and whether your combination leans more with CS or linguistics.
