<p>sorry if this has already been asked, but i was wondering what qualities might be considered “hooks.” everytime i see something really cool that i think might be a hook, i realize it’s not as original/attention-grabbing as i thought. is it just being a recruited athlete? or as i read somewhere else, being a famous swedish rapper? what qualifies?</p>
<p>The most common hooks: recruited athlete, URM, legacy, development candidates, kids of politicians, staff kids. Then there are national/international level achievement kids: olympic athletes, actors, accomplished professional musicians(Not I played at Carnegie Hall because my parents paid for it)…</p>
