What's considered a solid SAT score?

<p>Taking the SAT for the first time, and I was just curious what a good SAT score would be? Anyone know anything about UMich and their SAT scores??</p>

<p>Well the national average is like a 1500 - so a solid score by most schools means is a around a 1750 to 1800. Of course top schools like Umich would like to see schools in the 1900 - 2200 range.</p>

<p>If you want to go to a top 50 ranked school, try to get an 1800 plus</p>

top 100: 1800+</p>

<p>For one, Cornell looks at only CR and math. So if a person get’s an 750+ on Writing, that is only a 1350+ for CR/Math, which is very weak for Cornell (1450+ puts you IN THE BALLPARK, 1500+ gives you a very good chance).</p>

<p>average sat score is 1500 a good score is in between 1800-2100 and a very good score will be in 2100+ range and a whoa SAT score will be above 2300+.and for univ of Michigan(if that is what you are reffering to in the abbreviation UMich) SAT score requirement you should check their website. i think that following link will be helpful-</p>
