What is DOH room???
I visited cmu housing website and saw how doherty room
is made, and i saw OD OT TE TT and 5O type rooms, but
not DOH… what is it???</p>

<p>It just stands for Doherty. Mine was DON room … so I’m quite sure that stood for Donner.</p>
<p>Look at your room charge on SIO to figure out how much you’re getting charged, and then look at the room rates (<a href=“http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw/pdf/0607HousingRates.pdf[/url]”>http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw/pdf/0607HousingRates.pdf</a>) to figure out what kind of room you have.</p>
<p>Yeah you are in Doherty on the first floor. I know they are changing the way Morewood rooms are numbered this year, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see if they are changing the Doherty room numbers too. Just do what KrazyKow suggested – look at how much they are charging you for housing, and see what room type that matches up with</p>

it’s not posted on Now That I’m Enrolling,
and if mail comes to my house, i’ll find my roommates
before the mail arrives, because it usually takes three
weeks for the mail to get here … </p>

<p>Mail, facebook, and calling/emailing the housing department and asking nicely are the ways to find out roommates.</p>
<p>On SIO, what date do they have listed as your transaction date? I still have TBA, and I was wondering how close I am to being placed…</p>

i think most tba students got their dorms in that date…
however, a guy i know is tba, and his room number is 006, and he didn’t get a dorm yet… i think he’ll get a temp. housing…</p>
