What's for dinner at your house tonight?

H cooked and made a red pasta sauce with ground turkey, carrots, celery, mushrooms, a hot pepper, fire roasted tomatoes, red wine and lots of herbs; he served it over whole wheat rotini with a grating of fresh parmesan and a green salad. I love it when he cooks!

Delivery…

I came home from work and my daughter had made coconut milk-chicken-bell pepper-green curry with jasmine rice — and it was SO delicious!!

Hanaviolet like

I made Ina Gartens jambalaya last night. Quite good.

Fri night Sushi
Sat - Malaysian lunch (bowl of noodle soup), Korean dinner (tofu stew, barbecued beef)
Sun - Chinese dim sum

D2 is going back to college tomorrow. They are all of her favorite foods. I guess they are kind of Asian fast foods. After she goes back, H and I are going back to meat/fish and salad.

Ive been making some of the things I remember my mom making for my dad. ( he’s been gone for 37 years & my mom for 3 yrs )
Liver & onions. Kielbasa & sauerkraut. Sauerbraten. ( he loved German food)
I am on meat overload, I just want a fruit salad, but H loves it!
;)

Ooh dim sum!
We should go out for Chinese new year!

Yes, emk, I’m tired of meat, too. DH and I ate leftover pork roast yesterday and we found ourselves reaching for the tums. Oops TMI.

Tonight, I’m making chicken soup, french bread and a side of salad. Giving our tummies a rest.

We haven’t had a real meal in days. I think tonight I’ll make chicken pot pie.

Football party at my house today.

Ribs, chicken wings, pizza, meatballs, chips, cookies, etc.

A fruit salad makes it all healthy.

Unseasonably cold here. Making a potato casserole, apples and kale on the side. Winter food in sunny (?) California

I just made a barbecued turkey breast, we are having it with a variation of Israeli salad tonight (chunks of tomato, cucumber, avocado, chickpeas and red onion). We are in the mood for comfort food but at the same time I want something healthy…I feel like I have been on heavy/sweet/carb overload.

I am making Chicago-style pizza. Yum.

White bean chicken chili and H’s favorite–3-alarm chili (with beef). Patriots are playing in a few minutes and H had friends came over to watch the Pats win (they hope). I’m cooking.

Since it’s 60 degrees in January, we’re grilling burgers!

^^^^same. Burgers on the grill - though temp has dropped!

I’m making something up - it will be vaguely Mexicanish as I’ve got salmon, red, yellow and orange peppers on sale, lime and lots of cilantro. I might make a Jordanian salad which involves tomatoes, cucumber, radishes, onion, garlic, lemon, olive oil and mint and parsley, with fried strips of pita added at the last minute.

Watching Patriots game too. Homemade chicken wings and sweet onion burgers. Carrot sticks for something healthy. I’m usually such a healthy eater, but salad & football don’t go together! ;)

I made a couple chicken breasts (organic, Costco) in an olive oil/butter saute and then put in a bit of white wine and turned down the heat. Brown rice. Broccoli, lots of it. Some dark chocolate.

It’s award season. Takeout Chinese food of course!
