When I walked by earlier today I saw a bunch of tents and stuff.

some big ohio state rally

they were handing out ohio state merch and stuff for free

hahaha just kidding

bumpbumpbump

tent state university?..something about more student advocacy and stuff? i’m not a politics guy

Yeah, according to the Daily,“Tent State” was designed to protest the current state of Higher Education, which apparently organizers don’t approve of.

interesting…only thing i can complain about higher education is the freakin cost of it, haha

Oh, okay. I was kind of ****ed that I missed it because I thought it was about immigration laws.

some of it was about immigration laws. One of the student groups was teaching a “workshop” on it. There were some mock classes goin on at tent state. Their purpose sounded really vague though, so I’m not sure it was effective at all. There were so many organizations, there was no coherent theme or message for higher education. I do know that price was part of it though.

I’m bored and not studying. So yeah.

Tent State is in protest of the ridiculously high cost of higher education today, not a protest of higher education. It’s put on by Michigan Organization of Students or MOS, which is an umbrella group for a large group of student groups. It worked sort of well, but could have been better. Goodness day worked really well though. So good for that.
