You will DEFINITELY feel isolated from the tradition college social scene. People in the Honors dorms usually focus strictly on their academics while sacrificing their social lives in the process.</p>

<p>How are they viewed by the remainder of the students?
They are usually viewed as the oddballs by the community. They are the students who usually ask challenging questions in the middle of a lecture to the professor and just make everyone facepalm. </p>
<p>Just to clarify, not all Honors students are like this, but the majority are. I have some Honors student friends (and I am one myself) who just arent like this, but they usually dont like to hang out with the other Honors students at all.</p>
