You could definitely get in to Durham for Biomed, my daughter did, with lower scores. However look at the courses you will take in those three years and decide if is really what you want to study. It is a quite rigid program.
Thanks, @Conformist1688 - it looks like I mis-mis-read it. OP, if the Chem is a 4 you will need a 5 in Calc BC (or a 5 in Chem if you retake) for UCL.
@collegemom3717 I am not misreading anything OP has a 4 in AP Chemistry (“Ap literature : 5 AP psychology:5 AP Biology: 5 AP Chemistry: 4 AP World History: 4.”)
And I don’t know why you’re telling me about the A/B distinction thing since I never even mentioned it in my post???.. I know that UCAS doesn’t use it anymore. If you are misunderstanding this excerpt: “Where A* is required at A Level, 5 will be required in the relevant full-year AP subject; for A, 5 will be required; and for B, 4 will be required.” I am talking about the actual grades A and B like A*, A, B, C, D etc. and I copied the paragraph directly from the UCL website and is current as of 2017.
@ammielove, @Conformist1688 already corrected me & I acknowledged it- yesterday.
As for the A/B distinction, I mentioned it in case you weren’t aware of it- not to be critical, just to be helpful, as this is the first year it is in effect.
