Whats my chances for a scholarship? (Transfer Student)

Hey everyone,
thanks for reading this thread first of all.

So I’m going to be transferring after this semester (for fall of 2015) to a new university. I will be applying to Villanova, Fordham, Binghamton, Stony Brooke, Bucknell ect.

SO the questing is what chances do I have with scholarship? The problem being that I kinda messed up a little my freshman year. I was undeclared and got a 3.0 my two semesters.

I declared as a Bioscience major and got a 3.92 my sophomore fall semester, and plan on getting a 4.0 this semester as well…
So current cumulative gap- 3.4
Projected as of spring 2015 end- 3.54-3.6

Extracurriculars:
-Eagle Scout
-AFAA certified Personal Trainer
-Hospital Volunteer
-Competitive Powerlifter
-Highschool Football/Baseball
ect…

So what do you all think…? Mainly looking for answers regarding Fordham/Villanova, I know there a little bit of reach schools but we’ll see…

Thanks!!

You will need to have your parents run the net price calculators at these schools. As a transfer, your chances for a merit scholarship are low at these schools. Typically, transfers aren’t given much/any merit awards. And, often financial aid isn’t great for transfers either.

It is VERY LIKELY that your family will be expected to pay nearly all costs for these schools.

How much will your parents pay each year?

Are you instate for the NY publics? Are you low income? If so, then you might get good aid for a NY public with a Pell Grant and a TAP grant.

What public univ can you commute to?

Thank you for your input, it was very helpful.

Net price calculators are not accurate for transfer students.
